Day Program Overview

Our Day Program services learners from kindergarten to grade 12. Students receive structured academic support, enrichment activities, and culturally rooted learning that reflects their identities and experiences. Open to youth from the Golden Mile and surrounding communities who need a safe, structured place to learn and grow during the day.

Lower School (Elementary)

Morning: Literacy, numeracy, and homework support.
Mid-day: Culturally centered lessons, group projects, and social-emotional learning.
Afternoon: Enrichment (arts, STEM, recreation) and reflection.

Upper School (Grades 9–12)

Older youth participate in applied learning, leadership development, and hands-on programming that supports academic success while preparing them for post-secondary pathways, careers, and community leadership.

Staff and Partners

Delivered in partnership with the Let’s Bee Connected Foundation, this initiative is led by experienced staff who understand the realities of Black children and families and delivers equity-focused, hands-on STEM programming in the Urban Grow Lab alongside outdoor, experiential learning in the apiary.
